All India School Quiz 2017 - 9th, 10th,11th, 12th Class Students

All India School Quiz


All India school quiz for class 9-12th students,ECI National Quiz 2017,CEO AP TELANGANA all India school quiz for school Students, ECI India national quiz for school Students, state zonal district level all India school quiz for class 9-12th students

The Quiz shall entail 5 rounds.
  1. The Intra School Round within the School shall select the Team (optional - alternatively School may nominate the Team)
  2. the District Round at the District HQs shall be conducted by DEO's office for selecting the School Team representing the District at the State level the State Round at the state HQs shall be conducted by CEO's office for selecting the School Team representing the State at the Zonal level the Semi Finals and Final shall be conducted at New Delhi under the supervision of ECI. Some States/UTs shall be clubbed together for the State Round, the same shall be informed in subsequent circular.
  3.  The detailed structure of the Quiz is given in the Annexure.
Tentative Timeline
  1. Intra-School Round (1-10th November)
  2. District Round (11-17th November)
  3. State Round (20-25th November)
  4. Semi Finals and Grand Finale shoot (11th -17th December)
  5. (18th December onwards: Post-Production Work)

CEOs and DEOs may immediately set up Committees to steer the entire exercise of conduct of Quiz. The task of inviting Schools and setting up of Test Evaluating Teams may also be initiated by the QEOs. The CEO and DEO and the tentative timelines are given in the Annexure. It may be noted that the District Round and the State Round shall be an outreach event as well and accordingly these may be well publicized. Necessary directions may be given to the DEOs on these lines

Aim:  Engage the young students in the age-group of 14-17 years - the future voters, in a self-learning exercise about the electoral process so as to build an aware and informed electorate in near future.
Background: The theme for NVD 2017 was 'empowering young and future voters' and the year focused upon future voters in the age-group of 14-17 years - the future voters. Interactive School Engagement was launched in two phases in January /July to promote electoral literacy among the students. The National Quiz for Schools is a part of the same outreach targeting school students in class IX-XII. Televising the Quiz in an interactive and interesting manner, aims at reaching out to young people falling outside schools /formal educational system.
Intra-School Round (Format: Subject to the decision of the school)
To be conducted within the ambit of and by the schools.
Model content (including questions/answers set) would be shared by ECI through the DEO.
School Winners (team of 2 participants) qualify for the District Round and represent the School
Please Note: DEOs to encourage participation of girls schools and also representation of girls from co-educational schools

District Round- (Format: Written- Questionnaire/Key)
  1. The District Election Officer (DEO) is in-charge of and would preside over this Round
  2. Content (questions /answers set) would shared by ECI through the CEO. The questionnaires furnished would have in-built provision for tie-breakers.
  3. District Winners (School team) qualify for the State Round.
  4. Based on the number of Schools confirming their participation, DEO shall constitute an evaluating team comprising sufficient memhers(prefernbly from . cluc:Htion department] so that the evaluation is done on the same day. The District results should be announced on the same day as the written test.
  5. DEO's office shall identify the venue/s for the Round in advance and inform the participating Schools
  6. The Test Day would also be a day for engagement and outreach to the target audience i.e. the participating students. Accordingly officials may interact with the participants, distribute merchandise and engage with them. The event may be duly publicized and documented.
  7. The logistics(travel and accommodation) for the Winning Team representing the District in the State Round shall be borne by the concerned DEO
State Round - (Format: Written OMR Test):
  1. The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) is in-charge of and would preside over this Round. The CEO would be supported by an Agency representative during the conduct of the Quiz.
  2. Content (including promotion and questions set in OMR format) would be rendered by the Agency. The questionnaires would have in-built provision for tie-breakers
  3. State Winners (School Team) qualify for the National Semi-Finals. In all, across nation, 30 teams/State Round winners would qualify for the National Semi Finals
  4. CEO's office shall identify the venue/s for the State Round in advance and inform the DEO's office.
  5. The Test Day would also be a day for engagement and outreach to the target audience i.e. the participating students. Accordingly officials may interact with the participants, distribute merchandise and engage with item. The event may be duly publicized and documented
  6. One representative from the Agency shall assist the CEO's team during the conduct of the State Round. The local transportation and accommodation facility for the Agency representative for up to 2N/3D shall be extended by the office of the CEO. This however shall not mean re-imbursement of any expense incurred by the agency representative.
  7. The logistics (travel and accommodation) for the Winning Team representing the State in the Semi Finals/Final shall be borne by the concerned CEO.
  8. Semi Finals and Final would be on-stage round that would be shot in a Studio at New Delhi and produced for national telecast. This shall be conducted under the overall supervision of ECJ. 
Responsibilities of the Chief Electoral Officer
  1. Set up a State level Committee to steer the entire exercise of conduct of Quiz in the state.
  2. Coordinate and overall supervise the District Rounds of the Quiz.
  3. Reserve centres/venues for the State Round in the capital and arrange related logistics.
  4. Organize and preside over the State Round
  5. Coordinate with the Agency representative for the State Round Quiz evaluation.
  6. Arrange the travel and accommodation of winners of the State Round and accompanying teacher-in-charge for the Semi-Finals/National Final in New Delhi
  7. Produce and provide T-shirts/merchandise to the participating students.
  8. Felicitate the State winning team suitably at State level or during NVD function at State HQ.
  9. Arrange A/V shoot of the State Round and get the raw footage from District Rounds and furnish to the Agency.
Responsibilities of the District Election Officer:
  1. Shall set up a committee to steer the District Quiz.
  2. Invite schools for participating in the Quiz
  3. Share questionnaire/key to schools for the Intra-School Round
  4. Accept list of teams from each school within ttle district
  5. Constitute a Team for evaluating the test papers. (A shall be provided by ECI)
  6. Organize, preside and evaluate the District Round and declare the winners on the same day as the Quiz.
  7. A/V shoot of the District Round and supplying raw footage to the Agency
  8. Forward name of members of District School Winning Team to the CEO for the State Round
  9. Arrange Travel and accommodation for the participants from the concerned district to the city selected for the State Round.
  10. Produce and provide T-shirts/merchandise to the participating students.
  11. Felicitate the District winning team suitably at District Level or during NVD function at District HQ. More prizes may be given to encourage participation.
  12. Promote and publicize the District Round in specific and the National Quiz in general on official social media handles (as per ECJ specifications).
  13. Promote and publicize the District Round in specific and National Quiz in general within the am bit of the concerned district

In the continuation to the instructions issued vide reference five cited above, all the Regional Joint Director School Education and District Educational Officers in the state informed that there is a tremendous improvement in the metric attendance of Teachers across the state.

We are pleased that 14th November (BIS) 1,25,243 (81%)-teachers across the state have authenticated their attendance on biometric devices at their school point. As put the instructions word at point number 4 of proceedings dated at 01.11.2017, the Andhra Pradesh Teachers leave System.

  • The Regional Joint Director of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are instructed to issue necessary instructions to the Dr. Eos/MEO Headmaster on the ers following:
  • Ensure that all the teachers eligible for leave, holiday and on duty should be registered apply the APTeus Mobile app for enabling 100 teacher attendance through e-Hazar from 16-11-2017.
  • The lease needs to be registered by duly entering treasury, ID and OTP received on the registered Mobile to avoid any discrepancy.
  • In the case or change in teacher Mobile Number, the same has to be updated/registered at respective by D, E0/DEO of offices. List of invalid teacher Mobile Numbers is available at teacher comer in the portal for ready referencing.
  • Necessary approval of this leave application will be enabled HM/MEO/DyEO logins.
  • Provision will be made for HMMEONDyEO in their respective logins to update the availed leaves till date in this year 2017.
  • The implementation of biometric attendance of 10th class students should be done efficiently, 10ou attendance of students to be captured at the school point on a daily basis as the Biometric attendance the X class students is Mandatory. The student attendance should be marked only during nonpeak hours during interval/lunch.
  • Depute district nodal person for the meeting scheduled at Ramoachodavatam. East Godavari District on 21st November 2017 for training and clarifications required, if any.

All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that as per reference-5 citied above Government of Andhra Pradesh issued orders on certain amendments regarding CCE pattern of examination system.




In this connection all the District Educational Officers are informed that instead of three Summative Assessments only two Assessments will be conducted from this academic year. SA-1 examination which was conducted in the month of September was cancelled due to leakage of Question papers. As per the Reference -5 cited above Summative Assessment –I is going to conduct in the month of December in place of Summative Assessment-II as mentioned in Academic calendar. SA-I examination will be conducted for class VIII and IX in OMR enabled MCQ type and Class VI,VII and X in regular type. SA-I examination is scheduled from 13-12-2017 to 20-12-2017. In this connection All the DEos are informed to conduct HMs meeting to provide awareness on new pattern of examinations and also instruct them to practice their students about OMR bubbling in their schools.

Further all the District Educational Officers are informed to take necessary action to constitute Three Man Mandal Level Verification Committee and also informed to communicate recent changes in the Examination pattern and guide lines which is annexed to all schools under all managements in their respective districts.

Guide lines relating G.O.Ms.No.80 dt 25-10-2017
Government of Andhra Pradesh issued Amendments orders to G.O.Ms.No 82,29 and 41 relating to CCE. In this connection SCERT issuing the following guidelines regarding syllabus, examination and grading procedures.

Examination Pattern :
• The amendments are effect from current academic year i.e 2017-18
• There are Four Formative Assessments and Two Summative Assessments in the Academic Year.
• No change in schedule and Pattern of Four Formative Assessments. ( will be conducted fro 50 marks with in 4 areas namely Children participation and reflections, Project works, Written works, Slip test )
• There are Two Summative Assessments ( SA-I, SA-II )in a Academic Year.
• SA-I will be in the 1st or 2nd week of November
• SA-II will be conducted in the month of March/April
• SA- II for class – X is the Pre Final examination, this will be conducted in the month of March.
• SA- II for class – VI to IX will be conducted in the month of April.
• SA- I for class – VIII and IX is OMR enabled Objective type assessment from this academic year.
• SA- I for class – VI to IX is OMR enabled Objective type assessment from the academic year 2018-19 .
• This Academic year SA-I examination is scheduled from 13-12-2017 to 20-12- 2017 Syllabus :
• Syllabus for Summative Examinations is up to October for the class VI to X in all Subjects as mentioned in the text books.
• SA-I examination will be conducted on June to November Syllabus For this Academic Year only. Grading :
• Summative Assessment will be conducted for 80 marks only.
• Internal Assessment marks will be calculated from Four Formatives and One Summative i.e SA-I.
• 20% internal marks will be calculated from 280 marks (Four Formatives and One Summative i.e SA-I. (4 x 50 = 200 + 1x 80 = 80 totally 280 marks)
• Grade will be given on 8 point scale.
Verification committee :
• District Educational Officer should constitute a three man committee for verification and certification of internal marks for the students studying class –X
• Mandal Level Verification Committee may includes MEO, School complex HM, Senior Head Master
• Mandal Level Verification Committee may visit all High schools under all managements in the mandal twice in a year.
• Mandal Level Verification Committee should verify answer papers, Project reports and other formative assessment evidences and cross check with school records with online entries.
• Mandal Level Verification Committee first visit is after SA-I, second visit will be after 4th formative assessment.
• During second visit Mandal Level Verification Committee should certify allotment of internal marks of all students and submit the same to the Dy.E.O
• Internal marks verified by Mandal Level Verification Committee shall be forwarded through Dy.E.O to DGE.
• Mandal Level Verification Committee may also observe examination procedures of remaining classes in the scholls.

AP Employees Loans Festival Advance Pay increased, Download new list as per PRC 2015. Andhra Pradesh giving the loans to government employees notification No.167. The candidates who are interested in taking loans on installment for Motor Car, Motor Cycle, Scooter, Moped, Bicycle, Marriage, Personal Computer, Festival Advance. The government giving lowset interest to existing candidates 6.50 percentage and revised candidates for 4th class 5.00%. For Others 5.50%.

In the Government Order G.O.(P) No. 46, Fin (HRM-V) based on the recommendations of the 10th Pay Revision Commission, Orders were issued implementing the Revised Pay Scales, 2015 to the State Government employees.

The 9th Pay Revision Commission the enhancement of eligible ceiling for various existing advances for which Government employees are eligible as per Rules.

AP Employees Loans Festival Advance Pay Details:

Motor Car Advance: Existing Officers whose basic pay is Rs.27700/- and Above they are eligible. Advance: 15 months’ basic pay or Rs.4.50 lakhs or actual cost whichever is less. Installments: Principal 135, Interest 65. Rate of interest: 8.50% p.a.

Revised Candidates: Officers whose basic pay is Rs.37,100/- and above. Amount: 15 months’ basic pay or Rs.6.00 lakhs or actual cost whichever is less.

Motor Cycle and Scooter: Existing candidates whose basic pay is Rs 11,530/- and above. Amount of advance: 07- months’ basic pay or Rs.60,000/- or actual cost whichever is less. Installment: Principal 80, Interest 16. Intrest 7.50% p.a.

Revised Candidates: basic pay Rs.22, 460/- above. Amount advance: 07- months’ basic pay or Rs..80,000/-. The installment will be same for both.

Festival Advance: Existing Employees drawing pay on the scale of Rs.13,660 – 38,570. Advance amount: Rs.3,000/-. Installment: 10. For Class-IV: Rs.2,000/- same ten installments.

Revised Candidates: Employees drawing pay in the scale of Rs.26,600 to 77,030. Amount advance: Rs.7,500/-. For Class-IV: Rs.5,000/- 10 installments for both.

The HMs are instructed to download the data of their respective schools and verify the particulars viz, school wise number of candidates, medium, candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, PH Code, date of birth, subject codes, photos etc with reference to the Admission Register/ MNR and propose corrections, if any.
    Handover the corrected copy to the DyEO concerned for their onward transmission to the DEOs who inturn will submit the same to the O/o DGE, Telangana., Hyderabad. If any discrepancy in the photo and signature of the candidate are noticed, it has to be brought to the notice of the DGE.

TSEDCET 2017 Certificate Verification Counselling Schedule at http://edcet.tsche.ac.in The qualified candidates of TS Ed.CET-2017 Examination are informed to attend the certificate verification for exercising web options for admission into two years B.Ed. course for the academic year 2017-18 on the dates mentioned against their state-wide rank and methodology, in any one of the Helpline Centers (HLCs) (See Annexure-I) with all original certificates as detailed below. 


CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED BY ALL CANDIDATES (Checklist):
  1. TS Ed.CET-2017 Rank Card 
  2. TS Ed.CET-2017 Hall Ticket 
  3. Degree certificate of qualifying exam and memorandum of marks 
  4. Intermediate Memo-cum pass certificate or its equivalent 
  5. SSC or its equivalent marks memo 
  6. Study certificates from 9th class to graduation 
  7. Residence certificate (in case where the candidate had private study without any institutionalized education) 
  8. Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates excluding the period of employment outside the state. This certificate should be obtained from the Tahsildar. 
  9. Transfer Certificate (TC) 
  10. Income certificate issued on or after 01.01.2017
  11. Aadhar Card 
  12. Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority (in case of SC/ST/BC). 
  13. PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority certificate (mentioned in Graduation/Post Graduation TC) certificates wherever applicable. 
  14.  Xerox Copies of two sets of the original certificates




Fees Details: 

Fee to be paid at the time of certificate verification: 1. Processing Fee (non refundable) for SC/ST candidates Rs. 250/- and for others Rs. 500/- 2. Tuition fee particulars and seats available under Convener Quota College wise will be notified on the website (http://tsedcet.tsche.in) well before the commencement of counseling (option entry). Tuition Fee and Special Fee as fixed by the Government shall be paid per annum. 3. The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.
