Monsoon Watch
The withdrawal line of southwest monsoon continues to pass through Anupgarh, Bikaner and Jaisalmer.
Conditions becoming favourable for further withdrawal of monsoon from some more parts of northwest India
during next 4­5 days.
Based on the 24 hours rainfall data ending at 0830 hours IST of 24 September 2016; southwest monsoon
vigorous
over Konkan & Goa,Marathwada and Telangana
and
active
over Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya
Maharashtra, Vidharbha, Coastal Karnataka, East Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.
Heavy to very heavy rain occurred at a few places over Konkan & Goa and at isolated places over
Marathwada; heavy at isolated places over
Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka and South
Interior Karnataka during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of today.

Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, northeastern states, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra,

Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and
